Online ordering of digital products

  1. Placing an order

Our online system is currently set up for individual purchases. If you wish to purchase on behalf of a school or if you are a bookseller, please contact info@haesemathematics.com.au

In order to place an order online for a digital product, you will be required to provide us with your name, location, contact telephone number and a valid email address. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with the correct details. Please add @haesemathematics.com.au to your safe senders list to prevent your subscription codes from being sent to your spam folder.

Haese Mathematics respects your right to privacy. We will never sell or release your details to a third party. Your details are secure with us.

  2. Selecting your product

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they select the correct digital product. Please double check your purchase before you pay as digital products are non-refundable items.

    IMPORTANT NOTE

Our digital products are sold for use on our online digital platform ONLY. You are purchasing access to a subscription that can be used for the length of time specified on the information page for that product.

The digital products are NOT PDF files and PDF files of our books will not be given out under any circumstances. This is to protect our intellectual property. Apart from indicated worksheets and printable activities, the digital products are not printable.

  3. Online Payment

Online payment is made with a valid credit/debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex.

When making a payment with a credit/debit card:
    1. You authorise Haese Mathematics to debit the card by the agreed value shown in the shopping cart
    2. You acknowledge that you are the account holder of that card or have the express permission of the account holder to use that credit facility.
    3. You understand that all credit card transactions are made in Australian Dollars (AUD). If your card is issued in another currency, your card provider may levy additional fees and charges for paying in a foreign currency. It is the card holder’s responsibility to find out if these fees apply before finalising the transaction. Haese Mathematics are not responsible for any additional charges that are levied by card providers and cannot adjust invoices to match what appears on your statement.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CUSTOMERS USING AMEX

We accept payment by Amex for orders up to AUD$1000. If your order is over AUD$1000 and you need to use Amex, please contact customer service who will inform you of the charges involved.

If you use the individual link to make a payment with Amex for over AUD$1000 before contacting customer service, Haese Mathematics reserve the right to delay dispatch of your order until an additional invoice for Amex charges has been paid in full.

  4. Access to the digital product

In order to access the digital product, you will be required to set up an online account on Snowflake, our online platform. Instructions on how to set up an account will be emailed with the subscription code. Full details can also be found at https://snowflake.haesemathematics.com.au/help

It is the customer’s responsibility to set up their account and add their subscription code.

  5. Compatibility and accessibility

Before purchase, please check that the platform that you wish to access Snowflake through is compatible. Further information about compatibility of each product can be found at https://snowflake.haesemathematics.com.au/help#Compatibility or by emailing itsupport@haesemathematics.com.au

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their device is compatible and is able to use the digital product purchased.

It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their internet speed and download capability will cope with the online platform.

  6. Returns/Refund

Digital products are non-refundable items. No refunds or replacements will be given if you:
    1. Select and purchase the incorrect digital product
    2. Later discover that your device is not compatible with Snowflake
    3. Are disappointed that the product is not printable or available as a PDF
    4. Swap to a different mathematics course
    5. Have problems downloading pages due to slow or interrupted internet speeds
    6. Simply change your mind

This list contains a few examples but is not exhaustive.

  7. Offline use of digital products

Snowflake, our online learning platform, will allow customers to download and view digital products offline. Each digital subscription can only be downloaded once and to one device.

If the device you downloaded your digital product to is no longer available for you to use, and you need to view offline, you will need to purchase another subscription. It is not possible to transfer an offline subscription to another device. Haese Mathematics are not responsible for the upkeep or safety of your device and are not obliged to provide you with another copy of the digital product for free should your device become non-operational or inaccessible. Please think carefully before choosing to download the offline version as the choice cannot later be reversed.

Online ordering of physical textbooks

  1. Placing an order

In order to accurately calculate freight, only part of the order will take place online. Once you have submitted your request, a member of our customer service team will be in touch with a quotation.

You will be required to provide us with your name, intended delivery address, telephone number and a valid email address.

Haese Mathematics respects your right to privacy. We will never sell or release your details to a third party. Your details are secure with us.

    1. Name

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with the correct spelling of the recipient’s name. This is particularly important for international orders when customs duties or import permits are required.

    2. Email address

In order to send through the sales quotation, a valid email address is required. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the email address provided is correct and is able to accept our email. Please add @haesemathematics.com.au to your safe senders list.

    3. Delivery details

In order to provide the safest and most cost effective delivery quotation, an accurate and complete address needs to be provided as each shipment is calculated individually. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided.

  2. Selecting the correct book

The customer is responsible for ensuring they select the correct book and number of books at the time of ordering. We are able to alter the title and quantity right up until payment is made so please let us know if you are unsure or wish to amend your order.

  3. Sales Quotation

After you have submitted your order, a member of our customer service team will contact you with a quotation which will include the freight component. If you place an order over the weekend or on a public holiday, we will be in touch on the next available business day. As our textbooks can be heavy, freight is not included in the cost of the books and is always added separately.

    1. Our sales team will ask you to check the details of the quotation before making payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the name of the recipient and delivery address are spelled correctly and that the book title and quantity are also correct. You must inform customer service if any details are incorrect BEFORE making payment as mistakes found later may not be able to be rectified.

    2. We will always quote for the safest delivery method to your country. This may not always be the cheapest. Please click here for an explanation of our delivery methods, carriers used and information of what we can and cannot do. If the customer chooses to use a carrier that is not recommended by Haese Mathematics, they do so at their own risk; Haese Mathematics will not be responsible in that case for any loss or damage to the books in transit (no refunds or replacements). We do not ‘weight’ our delivery prices with additional charges.

  4. Payment

By making a payment for any sales quotation given to you, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions detailed on this page, and confirm that you have checked the sales quotation for accuracy and agree to the costs.

We are able to accept the following:

    1. Bank deposit/transfer

All bank transfers are made in AUD unless otherwise indicated by a member of the sales team. All international bank charges are the responsibility of the customer. Haese Mathematics reserves the right to request additional payment to cover bank charges before an order is sent.

    2. Credit cards

For most orders, we are able to accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex. Our customer service representative will send an individual link to make a secure payment online.

When making a payment with a credit/debit card:

      1. You authorise Haese Mathematics to debit the card by the agreed value shown on the quotation.

      2. You acknowledge that you are the account holder of that card, or have the express permission of the account holder to use that credit facility.

    3. Cheques

We accept cheques issued in Australian Dollars for all orders. However, personal cheques must clear our bank account before an order is dispatched. Schools and booksellers are able to send cheques in USD or EURO if their account is set up in that currency. Cheques written in USD or EURO for personal orders will not be accepted.

    4. Cash

Cash is only accepted for door sales at our Marleston office. Please do not post currency; Haese Mathematics will not be responsible if you send cash and it is lost in the post.

  5. Delivery and Shipping

Once full payment has been received, our customer service team will endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays). We will be in touch to confirm payment and shipping. We will send through any tracking details that are available and instructions on how to use them online. Orders will be dispatched to the delivery address listed on the sales quotation. If you have failed to inform us of an error, we cannot rectify the address once the order has been uploaded to our warehouse for packing.

  6. Customs Duties and Taxes

Some countries will levy an import tax or duty on imports over a certain value. Duties and taxes are not included in the shipping price. The recipient is responsible for the payment of duties and taxes locally. If the recipient chooses not to pay duties and taxes, the books may be destroyed by the customs authority of the receiving country or returned to Australia. Haese Mathematics will not pay customs duties or taxes on behalf of the customer under any circumstances. Please click here to review information about our shippers and paperwork requirements for international orders.
